**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for * * z/OS. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The following has been fixed: * * * * 1- When task 'Create Catalog Copy * * Version Table' on panel CCQPPRD * * 'Product Parameters' is disabled, * * the following option on the panel * * ADB2 'DB2 Administration Menu' * * remains visable/enabled when it * * should be hidden/disabled: * * * * CC - DB2 catalog copy version * * maintenance * * * * 2- The Change Management Batch * * interface (via skeleton ADB2UJOB) * * job does not generate the following * * JCLLIB statement: * * * * //ADBLIBS JCLLIB ORDER=>admin_hlq<. * * ADBTCZ.PROCLIB * * * * 3- Input field 'JCL procedure library * * (PROCLIB)' on panel CCQPPRD 'Product * * Parameters' will produce the value * * '//ADBLIBS JCLLIB ORDER=ADBA20.DEFAULT. * * PROCLIB' instead of 'ADBA20.DEFAULT. * * PROCLIB' after submitting the job * * template ADBCUST and rerunning * * DISCOVER. As a result, panel CCQPPRD * * will issue the following error message * * upon exiting the panel: * * * * CCQV004E Enter a fully-qualified * * valid data set name * * * * 4- Column GRANTEE to table * * ADBCVERSCOPES was missing from * * the DB2 Administration Tool for * * z/OS UPGRADE Change Management * * database template job ADBMCMA. * * * * 5 -The DB2 Administration Tool for * * z/OS ALT function on panel ADB27CA * * 'Alter Objects' did not warn the * * customer that a change from an * * implicit table space to an explicit * * table space would result in the DB2 * * LOAD utility failing with error * * message: * * * * DSNU305I DSNURWI - * * TABLE=>schema<.>name< * * HAS AN INCOMPLETE * * TABLE DEFINITION * * * * because the implicit index was not * * created. * * * * 6 -When altering a view, the hidden * * panel ADB27CAA 'Alter Tables' is * * displayed with error message: * * * * 'Processing error' * * * * which should not be displayed. * * * * 7 - On panel ADB25LE 'Utility * * LISTDEF', the user can specify 'Y' or * * a numeric value 1-4096 in the PART * * column. * * * * When a two (or more) digit numeric * * value is entered in the PART column, * * the value is truncated to 1 digit. * * * * The following enhancements are * * delivered: * * * * 1- Support of long SECADMx Zparms on * * panel ADB2ZZMN 'System Parameters - * * System Parameters' added. * * * * 2- Support of the DB2 11 * * AUTONOMOUS procedure option in * * Generate (GEN) and other * * Admin functions added. * * * * 3- Panels ADB2ZBA2 'Alter Buffer * * Pool' and ADB2ZBA8 'Alter Buffer * * Pool' added to support DB2 11 new * * options VPSIZEMIN, VPSIZEMAX and * * FRAMESIZE. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The following are fixed: 1- When task 'Create Catalog Copy Version Table' on panel CCQPPRD 'Product Parameters' is disabled, the following option on the panel ADB2 'DB2 Administration Menu' remains visable / enabled when it should be hidden / disabled: CC - DB2 catalog copy version maintenance 2- The Change Management Batch interface (via skeleton ADB2UJOB) job does not generate the following JCLLIB statement: //ADBLIBS JCLLIB ORDER=>admin_hlq<.ADBTCZ.PROCLIB 3- Input field 'JCL procedure library (PROCLIB)' on panel CCQPPRD 'Product Parameters' will produce the value '//ADBLIBS JCLLIB ORDER=ADBA20.DEFAULT.PROCLIB' instead of 'ADBA20.DEFAULT. PROCLIB' after submitting the job template ADBCUST and rerunning DISCOVER. As a result, panel CCQPPRD will issue the following error message upon exiting the panel: CCQV004E Enter a fully-qualified valid data set name 4- Column GRANTEE to table ADBCVERSCOPES was missing from the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS UPGRADE Change Management database template job ADBMCMA. 5- Panel ADB27CA displays message ADB577W to warn the user to create an index if the user wants to move a table from an implicit table space to an explicit table space: ADB577W 'Table is incomplete' The table definition is incomplete because there is no unique index defined for the primary key. Use the 'CX - Create Index' line command to create a unique index, then continue the ALT process. 6 - Panel ADB2MEX 'Index Space Estimator' displays 409 in the page size field. 7- The hidden panel ADB27CAA 'Alter Tables' should not be displayed when using the ALT function to alter a view. 8- Panel ADB25LE incorrectly truncates the value when it checks for the 'Y' value. The following enhancements are delivered: 1- Support of long SECADMx Zparms on panel ADB2ZZMN added. 2- Support of the DB2 11 AUTONOMOUS procedure option in GEN and other Admin functions added. 3- Panels ADB2ZBA2 and ADB2ZBA8 added to support DB2 11 new options VPSIZEMIN, VPSIZEMAX and FRAMESIZE.
