PH62515: DYNAMIC ALLOCATION ERROR OCCURS DURING IMPORTING COBOL AND PL/I COPYBOOKS

Error description

• DBD/PSB resource change and import objects issues message
  ATY3107E dynamic allocation failed for a copybook data set. It
  occurs when both COBOL and PL/I copybooks are specified to
  import, and more than one copybook data sets are concatenated.

  Dynamic allocation error occurs with ATY3107E message when
  Copybook Import is selected in the following functions:
  - Database and Application Administration>IMS Resource Change
    >DBD/PSB Resource Change
  - IMS Catalog and ACB Library Management>Import Objects
  
  This problem occurs when all of the following conditions are
  satisfied:
  - Import both COBOL and PL/I copybooks to DBD source in one JOB
    or in one ISPF dialogue execution
  - Either COBOL copybook (ATYCOPY DD) or PL/I copybook (ATYPLI
    DD) is one data set and the other is concatenated data sets
  
  IMS Administration Tool does not issue dynamic allocation for
  the copybook data sets correctly and causes dynamic allocation
  error.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS Administration Tool has been modified to issue dynamic
  allocation for the copybook data sets.
