**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of Online Structure Change * * utility in Fast Path Solution Pack Version * * 2 Release 1 (FMID: HAHQ210). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Online Structure Change utility * * (OSC) supports the Integrity Checker * * utility to check consistency between * * new database definitions (ACBs, * * randomizers, and segment * * edit/compression routines) specified * * for the OSC driver job and the database * * definitions used in the DBCTL * * environment. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** The Online Structure Change utility (OSC) supports the Integrity Checker utility of IMS Library Integrity Utilities. If the Integrity Checker utility is activated, the integrity of new database definitions (ACBs, randomizers, and segment edit/compression routines) specified for the OSC driver job are checked against the database definitions used in the DBCTL environment. If the new keyword LIULIB_DSN keyword is specified, an additional step is added in the internal job xxxxxxR0 to issue the INIT.DB command of the LICON utility.
