Problem conclusion

  • When upgrading the resource adapter, a helper class verifies
that the existing properties configured on associated
Activation Specifications are present as configurable
properties of the new Resource Adapater's Activation
    Specification.

WAS_EndpointInitialState is not a property of the Resource
Adapater's Activation Specification, it is a configuration
property of the Activation Specification that is internal to
    WebSphere Application Server itself.

The helper class was modified so that the
WAS_EndpointInitialState custom property was not treated as a
standard property and instead it is exempted from the
    verification and removal process.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix packs
8.5.5.27 and 9.0.5.21. For more information, see 'Recommended
