APAR status

Error description

• When IMS Administration Tool ISPF is invoked, ABENDS0C1 occurs
  at ATY$INI0 and the following messages are displayed.
   System abend code 0C1, reason code 00000001.
   Abend in host command aty$ini0 or address environment routine
   LINKMVS.
  Whether this error happens or not depends on the memory
  situation.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  ATY$INI0 calls ISPLINK. The ISPLINK parameters must be character
  strings. However, ATY$INI0 sets parameter addresses with
  hexadecimal values.
  If any of the parameters contains a delimiter character, for
  instance single quotation X'7D', ISPLINK assumes that it is
  the end of the parameter.
  As the result, ISPLINK works with the incorrect parameter and
  ABEND 0C1 occurs.
  This error happens when the parameters contain delimiter
  characters, therefore, it happens depend on the memory
  situation.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS Administration has been modified as follows:
   - Pass correct parameters to ISPLINK
   - Handle an error return code from ISPLINK properly
