APAR status

Error description

  • After installing a Java I-Fix, the log header for SystemOut show
    "unknown" for the "Detailed Ifix information" header.

    Certain iFixes, notably those containing Java updates, do not
    have
    a list if included APARs in the metadata.  The code which lists
    installed iFixes and APARs does not handle this missing APAR
    information well and reports 'unknown' for installed iFixes.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix packs
    8.5.5.26 and 9.0.5.21. For more information, see 'Recommended

    The code has been updated to recognize this situation and report
    the iFix as "contents unknown".
