PH61039: DROP/CREATE OF TABLE TO ALTER UNICODE VARCHAR COLUMN

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ALTER TABLE ... ALTER COLUMN ... SET DATA TYPE statement is
  valid for V12 unicode VARCHAR columns (COLTYPE='VARCHAR', not
  COLTYPE='VARBIN'). But Compare generates drop/create table for
  a change to increase size of that column.

  When Object Compare is used to increase the size of a Unicode
  VARCHAR column, an ALTER COLUMN statement should be generated.
