PH60959: OBJECT COMPARE CAUSING MISSING INDEXES WHEN 'SUPPRESS DROP OF OBJECTS' OPTION IS SET TO 'NO'

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When 'Suppress Drop of Objects' option in Object Compare is set
  to NO and the user modifies tablespace name, implicitly dropped
  indexes are not recreated after the CREATE TABLE statement. This
  causes missing indexes.

  This problem occurs when the following options are set:
  - Change Management = YES
  - SUPPRESS DROP OF OBJECTS = NO
  
  If the Object Compare job includes a change to a table space
  name, any index that exists on both the target and source table
  is not recreated after the user runs the apply job. This
  behavior results in missing indexes.
