  ibm-clang and ibm-clang++ were not issuing the error 'ibm-clang:
   error: -m64 is required' when run without the -m64 option.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem has been fixed so that the behaviour of the
  compiler remains consistent and the error will display if
  ibm-clang or ibm-clang++ is run without the -m64 option.
