Error description

  • Transaction CRSR abended with ACRJ / EYUO in program EYU9XLOP at
the first attempt to attach CRSR during startup. This tranid
isn't defined, but the attach is made with USE_DTRTRAN(YES) so
XMAT gives the CRTX instead. The transaction is defined with
DYNAMIC(YES) which is the only reason that EYU9XLOP was
    involved.

Meanwhile the definition for CRSR was removed from DFHISC in 6.1
and instead is defined in XMDM INITIALISE_DOMAIN, in fragment
add_cat3_transactions. That hasn't happened yet because XM
initialization is hung up on the DMDM WAIT_PHASE call. Meanwhile
CICS startup continues with several critical bits missing.

A second customer reported the same problem. They also saw an
APC3 abend because Language Environment (LE) was not
    initialised.

    * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abends ACRJ EYUO and APC3 during CICS *
    *                      startup because the Category 3          *
    * transaction CRSR has not been defined. *
    ****************************************************************
    CICS is starting up.
If CICS needs to attach a Category 3 transaction such as
CRSR before DFHXMDM has been able to automatically define
the transaction then the attach will fail.
In the reported cases, abends ACRJ EYUO and APC3 occurred.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS has been changed to ensure that the Category 3 transactions
are automatically defined before they are needed.
