PH57600: ADD TCZ PROVISION TO CREATE ONE OR MORE GRANT MANAGEMENT DATABASES/HUBS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The following erroneous parameter from the TCz Product
  Parameters panel CCQPPRD will be removed. This will alleviate
  confusion and allow customers to create multiple GM
  databases/hubs if need be:
  *SSID for Grant Management database . . . ____
  
  Add the following existing TCz Product Parameter to the Db2
  Parameters panel CCQPDB2. This gives customers the provision to
  create one GM database/hub which generally is all that's needed
  should their SSIDs/DSG systems have DRDA connectivity:
  Grant Management (GM) database . . . . . . ___ (YES, NO)
  
  Detailed field help information has also been added to the above
  field with instructions on how to create one GM database/hub for
  customers that have systems with DRDA connectivity.

  Issue 1:
  The following TCz product parameter is restricted to create only
  one grant management (GM) database:
  SSID for Grant Management database . . . ____
  
  The user expectation was that this parameter would create a
  GM database for each SSID that is listed in TCz, because it's a
  global parameter.
  
  Issue 2:
  When Grant Management is enabled, usage of the following
  Product Parameter will have no effect after the generated job
  ADBSETUP is submitted:
  GRANT privileges on GM programs . . . . ____________________ >
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
  The solution:
  1. Remove the following TCz product parameter that prevents
  creating multiple GM databases/hubs:
  SSID for Grant Management database . . . ____
  
  2. Add the following TCz Db2 parameter to allow creating one
  GM database/hub. This is ideal for customers that have SSIDs
  (and data sharing groups) with DRDA connectivity:
  Grant Management (GM) database . . . . . . ___ (YES, NO)
