APAR status

Error description

  • ALT index uses the LISTAGG function that is available from Db2
12 FL501. When it is used on FL500, it causes SQLCODE = -4743,
ERROR: ATTEMPT TO USE A FUNCTION WHEN THE APPLICATION
COMPATIBILITY SETTING IS SET FOR A PREVIOUS LEVEL. The use of
LISTAGG will be removed from ALT.

The LISTAGG function used in ALT on an index is available in
V12R1M501 and later. So ALT processing fails on V12R1M500. This
APAR removes use of the LISTAGG function.
