Error description

  • When WebSphere's HTTP Plugin fails to start, there isn't any
    clear messaging within the IHS error log to help a customer to
    diagnose the problem.

    When the plugin fails to start, the IHS error log needs to
    have extra messages to direct the user to review the plugin
    log for details.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Plugin has been updated so if it fails to start, a message
    is added to the IHS error log indicating the need to review
    the plugin log for more details.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.5.0.18 & 8.5.5.25. For more information, see 'Recommended
