  This APAR delivers the following fixes/features for IBM zDIH:
  
  - Generate zDIH applications automatically for priming zDIH
    caches with z/OS datasets: Generate zDIH application based on
    dataset copybook which can read the records from z/OS
    datasets, process the record and update zDIH caches. This
    feature is particularly useful during zDIH cache priming
    scenarios.
  - Generate zDIH applications with  built-in architecture for
    lower latency and throughput: The application architecture of
    the generated zDIH application for log streams and datasets
    are modified with more parallelization delivering improved
    latency and throughput.
  - IBM zDIH JDBC connector: Creates an event-based connector
    between the zDIH caches and any JDBC database for realtime
    information sharing. As soon as an entry is added or updated
    in a zDIH cache, it triggers an event and writes the updated
    cache information to any  JDBC compatible database.
  - IBM zDIH MongoDB connector: Creates an event-baesd connector
    between the zDIH caches and a MongoDB database for realtime
    information sharing. As soon as an entry is added or updated
    in a zDIH cache, it triggers an event and writes the updated
    cache information to MongoDB database.
  - CICS TSQ based generic log stream writer: For OLTP CICS
    applications with implicit commit, zDIH provides a TSQ based
    generic log stream writer that is used in conjunction with a
    zDIH CICS Task Related User Exit (TRUE) to ensure the relevant
    information is addressable at commit time.
  - Template Applications for MongoDB and JDBC connectors: Sample
    applications for zDIH MongoDB and JDBC connectors.
  - Currency update of Java runtime: Support for Java 17 runtime
    for the zDIH server and zDIH applications. Java 8 is
    deprecated and out-of-support for IBM zDIH.
  

Problem conclusion

• Applying the PTF for this APAR will change the IBM zDIH level to
  V2.1.1.0 as reported in the zDIH server log:
  IBM zDIH Server Version 2.1.1.0
