Error description
When uninstalling the SQL 2012 Native Driver and installing the Microsoft OLE DB Driver 19 for SQL Server, the AD Build Client 6.1.1 is not able to connect with Database. The AD Build Client 6.1.1 requires the Microsoft OLE DB Driver 18 for SQL Server to work.
Local fix
MSOLEDBSQL v18.6.5 x64 can be installed;
Problem summary
When SQL Server is running on a remote computer, the database connection from AD Build Client and Build Configuration failed. In the ADDI installer, the 'msoledbsql19' driver is distributed which doesn't seem to work in AD Build Client and Build Configuration when SQL Server is used remotely. However, any of the versions 18.xxx of the driver works, both with a local and remote SQL Server. Many of the 19.xxx versions are actually older than the latest 18.6.5 version, as they were maintained in parallel for some time.
Problem conclusion
The latest version on the branch 18 of the 'msoledbsql' driver, I.e.: v18.6.5, was included in both 6.1.1 iFix4 and 6.1.2 version, and 'sqlncli' was removed from the installer.
