Error description

  • This issue may be seen when using IBM Transformation Extender
(ITX) 10.1.2.0 to create JSON data with a JSON file used as a
native schema.

Expected Result:  "Field1" : ["1234567890"]
Actual Result:  "Field1" : ["1234567890"

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender users using native JSON output with
element array.

Problem Description:
Incorrect JSON produced by output card with missing closing
right square bracket depending on subsequent rules.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • When creating JSON output, prevent invalid JSON, when a JSON
array element is the last element with data and there are some
elements that evaluated to none after the JSON array element.
The invalid JSON would be missing the closing bracket ']'.

Applies to:
10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
