There is currently no warning message in the SystemOut.log file
and the Administrative console about the performance
    degradation
after selecting the "ALL" Performance Monitoring Infrastructure
    statistic set.
We need to warn customers that selecting "ALL" could cause
    server
    performance issues.

Problem conclusion

  • The code base was updated to display a warning on the WebSphere
Administrator Console after selecting the "ALL" Performance
Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) statistic setting. A warning is
also printed in the SystemOut.log file if the PMI setting is
changed during runtime along with being printed during startup.
The warning in the logs is as follows: "CWPMI0110W: Enabling all
statistics for PMI can degrade server performance."
