Error description

  • Product Registration is failed when authorized service group
    PRODMGR is not available.
    CWWKB0108I is issued incorrectly though the product registration
    is failed.

    During server startup, application server registration is
    incorrectly reported to be successful (CWWKB0104I) when the
    server profile to access authorized services under group
    PRODMGR is not enabled.
    If the product is not registered, SMF type 89 (product
    utilization) records are not written for the server in
    question.
    The product registration failure can be seen if native traces
    are enabled. The traces show a PC RC: 4100 during product
    registration:
