PH53874: LOAD UTILITY DISCARDS VALUES DURING CHANGE WITH UNICODE TABLE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For Admin V13 only, when changing a column in a table with
  UNICODE, running the change JCL causes the load utility to
  discard the rows due to error in loading the data. In the new
  load control card, the UNICODE parm is after the 72 character
  line limit so is not seen by the LOAD utility.

  Customer is changing a column in a UNICODE table using ALT
  and when running the change,  the LOAD utility discards the
  rows due to an error:
  DSNU310I  DSNURCON - RECORD  WILL BE DISCARDED DUE TO
        CONVERSION ERROR FOR TSX.TBX
        ERROR CODE '14 - INPUT IS INVALID FOR DATE/TIME'
  
  Also, when customer is running a change using HPU LOAD,
  error occurs in the LOAD utility.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
