**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Simultaneous LINKs to Liberty results * * in DFHSJ1006 timeouts. * **************************************************************** When two LINKs to Liberty occur simultaneously the second LINK will fail and a DFHSJ1006 timeout will occur with message: DFHSJ1006 E date time applid userid An attempt to attach to JVMSERVER server_name has failed because the Liberty link request has timed out. In a busy system, DFHSJ1006 timeouts may not be observed, but instead intermittent slow response times from LINKs to Liberty programs that aren't picked up until a subsequent LINK is issued.
Problem conclusion
CICS has been fixed so that simultaneous LINKs to Liberty do not interfere with each other.
