PH52946: DB2 ADMINISTRATION TOOL - DSN LINE COMMAND ON PANEL ADB21S DOES NOT WORK

Error description

• User is issuing the DSN line command on panel ADB21S and a
  pop-up panel, ADB2MSPC, appears asking for a high level
  qualifier for the data set name. After the user inputs the
  correct high level qualifier, an error occurs with message 'The
  high level qualifier specified for the data set is invalid. '.
  The user's high level qualifier is not an alias.

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Db2 Administration Tool for z/OS    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After issuing the DSN line command on   *
  *                      panel ADB21S, the user specifies the    *
  *                      high-level qualifier. An error message  *
  *                      erroneously reports that the qualifier  *
  *                      is invalid.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  After the user issues the DSN line command on panel ADB21S,
  pop-up panel ADB2MSPC prompts the user for a high-level
  qualifier for the data set name.  After the user inputs the
  correct high-level qualifier, the following error message is
  displayed:
  "the high level qualifier specified for the data set is invalid"
  
  The ADB21DSN panel should also provide a way for users to
  correct the high-level qualifier for the data set if they
  mistakenly type the wrong one.
  
  A new general command,  CATHLQ, is introduced that allows users
  to change the high-level qualifier for data sets for the Db2
  catalog.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
