PH51795: INTEGRITY CHECKER WILL CAUSE ABENDS0E0 WHEN IT VERIFIES DMB IN IMS ONLINE WITH SOME CONDITIONS

APAR status

Error description

• Integrity Checker will cause ABENDS0E0 when it verifies DMB for
  Full Function database in IMS Online. It also will cause
  ABENDS0E0 when it verifies DMB in IMS Online and DL/I SAS region
   is running. When Integrity Checker runs in these conditions, it
   will fail to initialize AR register. As a result of this, DBRC
  region ends with ABEND.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR fixes the Integrity Checker utility not to cause
  ABENDS0E0 when it verifies DMB in IMS online.
  
  When the Integrity Checker verifies DMB in IMS online and it
  verifies DMB in IMS online with DL/I SAS region or it verifies
  DMB for full function database in IMS online, it uses AR mode.
  
  The Integrity Checker clears AR registers before use. However
  the variable to use clear AR registers was pointed by some
  GPR register, the associated AR register itself was not cleared
  when used. As a result of this, ABENDS0E0 was occurred.
  
  This APAR fixes the Integrity Checker utility to clear the AR
  register and the GPR register before use.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following modules and macros have been changed to fix the
  problem:
  FABLVDVF, FABLVMNF, FABLVDV0, FABLVMN0
