PH51152: GCLMDA06E WHEN PROCESSING THE IMSUPDATE COMMAND FOR CLONING IMS SUBSYSTEM

APAR status

Error description

• When cloning IMS subsystem and updating the IMSACBA or IMSACBB
  dynamic allocation member for the target IMS subsystem, the
  IMSUPDATE command terminates with RC08 and the GCLMDA06E
  message.

  When the multiple data sets are concatenated in the IMSACBA or
  IMSACBB dynamic allocation member for the source IMS subsystem,
  IMS Cloning Tool creates an incorrect DSFMAD statement with a
  missing DSNAME keyword to update the IMSACBA or IMSACBB dynamic
  allocation member for the target IMS subsystem. The ASMA254I
  error message is issued and the IMSUPDATE command fails to
  update the target IMS subsystem.
  

Problem conclusion

• Install the APAR to fix the above problems for the IMSUPDATE
  command.
  In addition, the COLDSYS keyword of the /ERESTART command for
  the cloned IMS subsystem in the following sample JCL members
  has been changed to the COLDCOM keyword.
