PH51087: NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE SOURCE REPORT FOR REPORT VIEW AFTER DELETING REPORT SOURCE

Error description

  • Description from customer from TS010800142 - tested and
    confirmed:
    Follow the steps to reproduce this issue:
    
    1.  Create a folder called 'Test'
    
    2. Inside the folder 'Test' create a new report and save as 'New
    Report'
    
    3.  Create a report view of New report.
    Go to the properties of the report view and look at source
    report and use the set source report option. Notice how it opens
    up. Do not change anything. Cancel properties.
    
    4. Delete 'New Report'
    
    You should now have a broken report view. The report view is
    grey, indicating it is broken.
    The issue is that, when we go to the properties of report view,
    we can see the source report is 'Unavailable'. We cannot click
    on Report Source to change it - like button is not working
    anymore.
    
    
    Sometimes after deleting the report, the report view properties
    still have the source report set -you might see this on
    screenshot attached - it was possible to change report view
    first time - in attached documentation.
    If this happens you can change the properties.
    
    Another test is instead of deleting new report, create a new
    report and save over new report.
    The report view is now broken, and the source is unavailable.
    
    it is only if this happens then the source cannot be changed.
