Error description

• ORF job can get ABENDS213 reason code C8 during the Takeover
  phase when image copy data sets are allocated as compressed
  format data sets.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  When an image copy data set is on DASD, ORF updates a timestamp
  in image copy header record, which is the same timestamp in
  RUNTIME keyword of NOTIFY.IC command.
  ABENDS213 reason code C8 occurred when ORF attempted to open
  a compressed format data set for update.
  Because a compressed format data set cannot be opened for
  update.
  ORF should skip the update when image copy data sets are
  allocated as compressed format data sets.
  
  *** Note ***
  When you recover the database with that image copy data sets
  as input, you should specify TIMECHK=N keyword of IMS High
  Performance Image Copy for z/OS not to compare the timestamp
  in the header record of the input image copy data set with
  that in the DBRC record.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed so that ORF skips the update of the
  timestamp when image copy data sets are allocated as compressed
  format data sets.
