PH50425: COMPARE GENERATES DROP/CREATE FOR DSSIZE CHANGE IF PARTITIONING IS IGNORED

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When 'Partitions' field for tablespace is ignored or generic
  ignore for partitioning is used, Compare generates drop/create
  for DSSIZE change when ALTER can be used.
  

Local fix

• As a workaround, customer can remove 'partitions' from ignores.

  When partitioning is ignored then Object Compare can incorrectly
  generate drop/create for table space to apply changes that can
  be applied by ALTER if this ALTER statement is valid only for
  UTS table space (like DSSIZE change).
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
