APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • System running WebSphere Application Server 9.0.5.11. CICS team
is attempting to upgrade TS5.4 to TS5.6.  When they do, they get
the following messages in BBOOUT DD from the CICS region:
    20221011133414 BBOA8137E An error occurred when querying the
size of transient data queue (TDQ)  eibresp 44 eibresp2 1
    20221011133414 BBOA8102E An error occurred when writing
transient data queue (TDQ) to  eibresp 44 eibresp2 0 verify WAS
    20221011133414 Adapters TDQ is available.
    20221011133414 0000009 BBOA8000I: The current CICS level
0506 is not supported
%NALBBOC 20221011133423 BBOA8137E An error occurred when
querying the size of transient data queue (TDQ)  eibresp 44
eibresp2 1
%NALBBOC 20221011133423 BBOA8102E An error occurred when writing
transient data queue (TDQ) to  eibresp 44 eibresp2 0 verify WAS
%NALBBOC 20221011133423 Adapters TDQ is available.

Problem conclusion

  • Added support for CICS 5.6 to WebSphere Optimized Local Adapters

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
