APAR status

Error description

  • When executing JCL's build, customer is getting this JCL
"Missing DSNAME parameter" error in their JCL procedure
statement; Error [1047] : Missing DSNAME parameter, plus failing
 to override.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The AD JCL compiler throws an error when a JCL dataset does not
have the DSNAME parameter.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by saving a temporary dataset in the AD repository in case
 a dataset does not have a DSNAME parameter.
