Error description

  • Fields used adb2rep.pli in gen_unique_constraints() to count
rows fetched from systabconst and syskeycoluse are defined as
signed binary halfwords, so are limited to holding values up to
32,767.

*                 tables in the database                       *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The GEN command results in RC 12 for:   *
*                       IBM0342S ONCODE=340                    *
*                       The SIZE condition was raised.         *
*                      Program ADB2REP                         *
*                      Procedure GEN_UNIQUE_CONSTRAINTS        *
****************************************************************
ADB2REP has been updated prevent the SIZE condition from being
raised when a database has more than 32,767 constraints across
all tables in the database.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been resolved.
