  Customers with a URBridge adapter see slow login times. This
  APAR
  adds caching to URBridge so that registry calls are not repeated
  during login. If the users logging in are members of many
  groups,
  PH49932 will be a bigger performance boost. To use the cache,
  the
  following custom property needs to be set via wsadmin or Admin
  Console:
  com.ibm.ws.wim.adapter.urbridge.enablecache=true
  The size and timeout (in seconds) of the cache can be set with:
  com.ibm.ws.wim.adapter.urbridge.cache.timeout=Y
  com.ibm.ws.wim.adapter.urbridge.cache.size=X
  If not, the defaults of 600 seconds and size 4000 are used.
  

Problem conclusion

• Optional caching is added to URBridge so that the majority of
  registry calls are not repeated.
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
  8.5.5.23 and 9.0.5.14.
