APAR status

Error description

  • COBOL Compiler generate following error even though 07 level
exist,

Level 88 item is specified with no previousitem with level 01-49
or 77. Level 88 item is ignored

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • The AD Cobol compiler would throw a warning when a Level 88
variable does not have a level 01 parent variable

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by saving also the variables that do not have a level 01
parent
