* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IBM Semeru Runtime for Java 11 support  *
*                      for CICS Transaction Gateway for z/OS   *
*                      9.3.0.                                  *

IBM Semeru Runtime for Java 11 on z/OS with CICS TG is currently
 reporting  following error.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.,
 rc = 1
CTG6143E The Java launcher program specified by environment
 variable CTG_JAVA is 31 bit, but 64 bit Java is required
 CTG_JAVA = /java/J11.0_64/bin/java
CTG0827W CTGBATCH Child completed with a non-zero return code 4

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Transaction Gateway for  z/OS 9.3.0 now supports  IBM
 Semeru Runtime for Java 11.
