Error description

  • When there is job unloading data from a table using DB2HPU and
    loading the data into a temporary file dataset like &&UNLOAD
    which is used in later part of the jobs. But what we could see
    in ADDI , the temporary file is scanned as &UNLOAD .Can we
    assume that ADDI is storing the temporary files such as &UNLOAD
    instead of &&UNLOAD.

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • The AD JCL compiler does not save the temporary dataset name
    correctly when used in EXEC PROC statement

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed by correctly parsing the parameter value of EXEC PROC if
    double ampersand is present

Temporary fix
