  • QMF V13 bind APPLCOMPT error in job DSQ1BPKG SQL803

Local fix

  • Users may modify QMF1310.SDSQEXCE(DSQ1BPKO) to adjust the




APPLCOMPAT setting to a desired value.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: All QMF for TSO/CICS V13.1 users.            *

Users running installing QMF 13 into Db2 13 databases may
receive errors:

DSNT225I D2NB BIND ERROR FOR PACKAGE NSYSD2NB.Q.DSQKDTVQ
APPLCOMPAT(V13R1M501) OPTION IS NOT SUPPORTED

When running the bind package job DSQ1BPKG.'  As a workaround,
users may modify QMF1310.SDSQEXCE(DSQ1BPKO) to adjust the
APPLCOMPAT setting to the desired value.

Problem conclusion

  • To resolve this issue we changed APPLCOMPAT to V13R1M500 for
QMF V13.1 in QMF1310.SDSQEXC(DSQ1BPKO).
