PH48287: HTK FAILED WITH MSGFABJ0284E AFTER APPLYING THE PTF OF APAR PH40351

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• HTK failed with MSGFABJ0284E after applying the PTF of APAR
  PH40351.
  It is caused when the following conditions are met:
  1.IMS HP Image Copy APAR PH40351 / PTF UI77371 is applied.
  2.IMS version is 15.
  3.The database is converted to HALDB by using the CONVERT
    command.
  4.IMS management of ACBs is enabled and IMS catalog definition
    exit routine(DFS3CDX0) is specified in the STEPLIB DD.

  When IMS management of ACBs is enabled, HTK CONVERT does the
  following.
  - Creates a temporary DBDLIB
  - Stores converted HALDB definition in it
  - Passes it to HPIC
  HPIC APAR PH40351 supports IMS managed ACBs in image copy
  function. After the APAR PH40351, HPIC no longer recognizes the
  temporary DBDLIB that HTK creates when IMS management of ACBs
  is enabled.
  This APAR adds an interface between HTK and HPIC to let HPIC to
  recognize the temporary DBDLIB.
  The PTF of APAR PH43078 also needs to be applied to HPIC.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to add an interface between HTK and HPIC.
  After applying the PTF of the HPIC APAR PH43078, HPIC
  recognizes the temporary DBDLIB that HTK creates when IMS
  management of ACBs is enabled.
