APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the End of Line control character in the yaml resource
  overrides file is a single CR (carriage return or x'0D') rather
  than CRLF, CICS startup fails with message DFHYM1020.
  

Local fix

• Delete the file and create it with zosexplorer.
  

Problem summary

  A Resources Override file is created that has line endings of CR
  (x'0D') rather than the more common LF / CRLF. CICS attempts to
  use this file and fails to parse it correctly.  CICS fails to
  start and produces the following messages:
  
  DFHRV1000 E applid The resource overrides file has failed to
  parse.
  DFHSI1612 applid Errors detected while processing resource
  overrides file - CICS is terminating.
  DFHYM1020 E date time applid The resourceOverrides mapping is
  missing from the resource overrides file.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHAYAP updated to correct parse files with line endings of CR.
