  • IBM Developer for z Systems : IDz 14.2.5 - z/OS Explorer 3.1
    Refresh of spool data set triggers a refresh of entire
    workspace.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    Open a spool data set, in the editor and press the F5 key to
    refresh the content, all files in the z/OS Projects view are
    also refreshed.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When hoving over the JES Spool editor and pressing F5 to refresh
     the spool, the event triggers a full workspace refresh
    

Problem conclusion

  • Eclipse intercepts the F5 event and routes it to the workspace
    refresh operation.
