APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The behavior occurs when using IBM Transformation Extender
(ITX) 10.0.3 or higher.

A map that ends with a warning and the audit log should report
which card gave that warning:

<inputstatus    card="1"   bytes="5"   adapterreturn="0"
contentreturn="21"/>

Instead, the engine is returning:

<inputstatus    card="1"   bytes="5"   adapterreturn="0"
contentreturn="0"/>

A contentreturn return code is used to identify which input card
encountered an error.

some issues with input

Problem Description:
Audit log shows contentreturn="0" for a card where we should
have contentreturn="21"

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed error code issue to observe correct status in log file.

Applies to:
10.0.3.0, 10.1.0.1, 10.1.1.1

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
