  • A Launcher crash occurs during shutdown on AIX when a Java based
adapter listener (such as SAP R/3 JALE Adapter) is defined as a
 source event watch.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender AIX launcher users using a Java
adapter listener

Problem Description:
Crash in unnamed block in mercpici.std when shutting down
launcher in AIX. A Java adapter listener is also present.

Platforms Affected:
Aix

Problem conclusion

  • Prevent crashes when shutting down launcher and using java
adapter listeners.

Applies to:
10.1.1.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
