    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Running a command line tool causes the *

    ****************************************************************
When running WAS 9.0.5.9 - 9.0.5.12, running a command line
    tool
causes the Java security trace to be logged even when trace is
    disabled.
In such cases, the user will see the following message logged
    on
command console even when trace is disabled:
    ---------------------------------------------
    IBMJGSSProvider Build-Level: -20210426--84
[JGSS_DBG_PROV] main IBMJGSSProvider (version 8.0) loaded
    ---------------------------------------------

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR ensures the Java security trace is enabled only when
trace has been enabled on the command line tool.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.22 and 9.0.5.13. For more information, see 'Recommended
