When the collector tool is run on a Windows Platform, the
resulting
collector jar file will be missing information from the file
located in the OS/system file, where the output of the System
and
java -version commands is empty.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The collector tool code was fixed to correctly include the outpu
of the system and java -version commands in the OS/system file o
Windows.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.22 and 9.0.5.12. For more information, see 'Recommended
