  • A severe error occurred when invoking the Advanced Find
services in the installable UDDI.ear application.

*                      services in the UDDI application fail   *
*                      with the message "A severe error        *

The UDDI Advanced Find services make use of Apache Struts
action parameters.  A bug in the version of the Apache Struts
framework shipped in the UDDI.ear when processing action
parameters resulted in the failure.  Quick Find services did
not encounter the error.

Problem conclusion

  • The version of Apache Struts shipped within the UDDI.ear
application was fixed to correctly process action parameters.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix packs
8.5.5.22 and 9.0.5.12. For more information, see 'Recommended
