APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • SIBus can not start because of missing DELIVERYDELAY_TIME column
    after migration from V8.5 to V9.0 with CWSIS1529E error message.
    sibDBUpgrade does not help to resolve the problem.
    

Local fix

  • Edit ddl generated by sibDBUpgrade.sh to change only do ADD
    DELIVERYDELAY_TIME column. And apply it to SIBus tables.

    V9 Introduced the deliveryDelay columns to the database
    schema. These would be added by the sibDBUpgrade tool, but the
    tool only works when upgrading from V7 or earlier as it tried
    to add all the updates that were added in V8 and V8.5. If
    those are already present, the tool will fail.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The sibDBUpgrade tool has been updated so that the version
    being migrated from can be specified.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.0.5.12. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates for
