PH41185: CEEDUMP MAY FORMAT INCORRECT MEMORY IN THE "STORAGE FOR ACTIVE ROUTINES" SECTION FOR AMODE64

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For an active COBOL 6.3 module in the "Storage for Active
  Routines" section of the dump, the items formatted prior to "DSA
  frame for {module}" may incorrectly use the stack frame and/or
  writable static area (WSA) from a prior module.
  
  The most evidently wrong data is for "Contents of base locators
  for LINKAGE SECTION are:" and the subsequent "LINKAGE SECTION
  for {module}" data pointed to by the individual BLL cells.

  There was a logic error in the
  runtime routine when displaying and dumping
  addresses in the "STORAGE FOR ACTIVE ROUTINES" section
  of the CEEDUMP of COBOL programs that ran in AMODE 64.
