APAR status

Error description

  • IBM AD 6.0.X and earlier

When performing uninstall of AD by running the below command

1) Uninstall AD using the cli command

java -jar uninstaller.jar -cki


There is an error pop up while uninstalling build client -
uninstall.log not found ,
Uninstallation cannot proceed.

Due to which the uninstallation is not complete and the registry
entry remains for the build client.

This issue is seen intermittently

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When uninstalling on Windows, using java -jar uninstaller.jar
-cki on cmd not uninstalling all the components, especially
build client.

Problem conclusion

  • Added a new unistaller.cmd file in uninstall folder and run
uninstatller on cmd will uninstall all the components.

Temporary fix

  •
