PH40030: AFTER APAR PH36904, HANGING SITUATION, ABENDU1021 REASON C OR DATA MISSING IF FIX(APAR_PH36904 [,VERBOSE]) IN VUU030/ULOPTNS

Error description

• (HPU 5.1 only) After the fix for APAR PH36904 has been applied
  and enabled by specifying FIX(APAR_PH36904 [,VERBOSE]) in the
  value of the VUU030/ULOPTNS parmlib parameter, one of the
  following issues can occur if the situation described by PH36904
   is met:
  - Db2 HPU hangs
  - Db2 HPU terminates in ABEND USER 1021 (ABENDU1021) reason C
  when the parmlib parameter VUX038/CHECKINT = LEVEL1
  - Db2 HPU unloads incomplete data (incorrout)
  
  The solution to this issue and underlying PH36904 is being
  delivered in a phased implementation. This APAR will provide the
  first part of the implementation and will address the symptom by
  preventing Db2 HPU from using ZIIP when reading the LDS from
  tablespaces or from FlashCopy datasets retrieved through the
  COPYDDN LAST_IC/-integer feature. APAR PH40369 will deliver a
  solution for the issue when FlashCopy datasets are allocated
  through TEMPLATE statements.
  

Local fix

• remove FIX(APAR_PH36904[,VERBOSE]) from the value of the
  VUU030/ULOPTNS parmlib parameter to avoid PH40030 or apply the
  local fix for PH36904.
