* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An error message is displayed when      *
*                      modifying a Domino webserver            *
*                      definition.                             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Making any changes to a Domino web server definition causes an
error message to display on the administrative console:
"Web server type Domino Web IBM HTTP Server not supported on
platform".
This error message should only be displayed if the platform is
z/OS. Domino web servers are valid on all platforms except
z/OS.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The platform verification code was fixed to ensure the error
message is only displayed on z/OS platforms.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.21 and 9.0.5.10. For more information, see 'Recommended
