       progress in reading log records.
    .
    b) Modify message indicating that progress has resumed to
       include the LRSN.
    .
    c) Validate that the partition number calculated for a

Add Q Capture messages to diagnose log reading in Db2 proxy mode

Problem conclusion

  • 1. Issue a message when no beginUR log record is returned in
    proxy mode
    2. Issue ASN7327W "no progress" on first occurrence and every
100 occurrences thereafter; instead of after the 5th
occurrence. Issue ASN9999W instead of ASN7328D when log
reading is making progress again, and report current LRSN and
    endscope LRSN
    3. For subscriptions by partitions on compressed tablespaces, Q
Capture verifies that the partition number derived from the
page number is the same as the partition number returned by Db2
in the log record header (requires a Db2 usermod) and issues a
diagnostic message if they are not the same.
    4. Issue a message reporting the last LSN read and the number
of rows read so far for long running transaction that exceed
the 'STALE' limit (default 1 hour), in addition to issuing
    message ASN0633W
    ASNCLP was not updated.
