PH38202: EXCEPTION WHEN CONTINUE OR GOTO WITHIN A NESTED PROGRAM BRANCHES TO AN INCORRECT LOCATION

Error description

• A called called common or nested program contains an IF
  statement, with a CONTINUE statement that may is generate an
  incorrect branch calculation - resulting in a branch into
  unallocated storage.

  Nested programs may be inlined, replacing a CALL of a nested
  program with the nested program itself. When a nested program
  is
  CALLed more than once, it may be inlined more than once, and
  there may also be a non-inlined copy of the program. When
  compiling the second and subsequent copies of the nested
  program, the compiler's internal state incorrectly linked the
  start of a named section with an instruction generated for a
  previous copy of the nested program. The compiler used this
  incorrect internal state to generate a branch to an incorrect
  location.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was fixed so its internal state does not link the
  start of a named section in one copy of a program with another
  copy of the program.
