Error description

  • The default umask of the Intelligent Management process used
to launch assisted life-cycle middleware servers should be
022 rather than 042 and custom configuration of the umask
value is not honored. This can lead to unexpected behavior
with regards to the file permissions created by the assisted
life-cycle servers started by Intelligent Management.

For example; if a Liberty server has an environment variable
of WLP_SKIP_UMASK set to true and has been configured for
assisted life-cycle, the Liberty server will create
    files/directories with permissions of rw--w-r--/rwx-wxr-x
    respectively rather than rw-r--r--/rwxr-xr-x.
